Applications

repair breaks in rigid PVC pipe - To easily route under or over obstacles that would
usually require multiple cuts of rigid PVC pipe (use
fewer fittings, less gluing, less hassle). - Where design considerations might require low flow,
low pressure laterals to be snaked or looped. - To carry irrigation water to interior and exterior
planter's, arbors, waterfalls, etc.
Note:
Flexible PVC Pipe should be used only on irrigation water systems and
downstream of irrigation control valves. Flexible PVC Pipe is not
recommended for use in applications involving high heat, high pressure,
or constant pressure situations.
HOW IS FLEXIBLE PVC PIPE USED
- VarTek's Flexible PVC Pipe is designed for use with risers or
swing risers. The construction of VarTek's Flexible PVC Pipe is
comprised of a flexible PVC component and a rigid PVC
component which makes handing easier in warm or cold climates.
The rigid reinforcement allows the pipe to make tight bends
without kinking or breaking. When properly installed, the product
is nearly indestructible. VarTek's Flexible PVC Pipe can be
readily assembled with standard schedule 40 PVC fittings using
flexible PVC to rigid PVC glues. - Flexible PVC Pipe comes in sizes of 1/2", 3/4" and 1" I.P.S. (Iron
Pipe Size). I.P.S. Flexible PVC Pipe is available in coils of 100' in
1/2" and 3/4" sizes, and in 50' coils of 1". Pre-cut lengths of
Flexible PVC are also available in a wide range of sizes. - VarTek's I.P.S. Vinyl Pipe offers the irrigation system much more
flexibility, durability, shock resistance, and ultra-violet resistance
than standard rigid PVC pipe can provide.
